The last of the Neo-Classics, a revelation of the cracks in Enlightenment reason, the first of the Romantics to disrupt art with his rapid, informal brushstrokes, populated by unseen nightmares, invites to discover his entire artistic career developed in a historical period saturated with changes and political, social and ideological events that sanctioned a new era in history.
