Get ready for an event that will shake you to your core. La Fura dels Baus, the legendary Catalan theater group, who was already collaborating with Teatro alla Scala (directing “L’amore di tre rè”, “Tannhäuser”), returns to Italy in its purest, most primordial and disruptive form. And this time, at the centre of the revolution is a milestone of Western culture, Shakespeare’s immense “Hamlet”, deconstructed by the brilliant artistic vision of Carlus Padrissa, the company’s long-standing director and co-founder.

Acclaimed on its debut in Buenos Aires and in its revival in Malaga, “SONS: SER O NO SER” offers a new experience of total theatre. An immersive, physical and avant-garde vortex that shatters all conventions, breaks down the “fourth wall” and catapults the audience into the beating heart of the scene. The audience becomes an integral part of a work that is created and evolves around them, in an open stage space that welcomes them among the performing elements.

This will be a unique experience, a performance off the beaten track that challenges the boundaries of traditional theatre.

Please note:

a) Participants should be at least 13 years old.
b) You must remain standing for the entire 65 minutes of the show.
c) Strobe lights, water and smoke will be used.

Before the show, there will be time to enjoy an “aperitivo” in Milan’s Chinatown.
