Enrique Gasa Valga presents a striking contemporary dance adaptation of The Great Gatsby, inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel. Blending the elegance of the 1920s with modern choreography, the production offers a powerful visual and emotional journey into desire, illusion and the pursuit of the American Dream.

The story portrays Jay Gatsby as a mysterious and tragic figure whose glamorous world of wealth and parties slowly collapses. The performance unfolds through twenty dynamic scenes performed by an international cast of dancers, accompanied by live music under the direction of Roberto Tubaro.

Live jazz plays a central role in the show, featuring music inspired by legends such as Nina Simone, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, together with original compositions performed live on stage. The result is an immersive theatrical experience where dance, music and storytelling come together in a unique and engaging performance.
