Giovedi 3 Dicembre alle 18:15 – Conferenza: Masters of Italian Design – The Golden Era (1950-1970) – Auditorium Club House
The golden era of Italian Design begins at the end of World War II; from the Vespa Piaggio to the Venini bottle and beyond Italy quickly established a reputation for style and sophistication. Organic, sculptural and flowing forms proclaimed the economic and cultural Renaissance of the 1950’s. In the following years we witness a constant flow of iconic works and great influential Masters such as Ponti, Castiglioni, Magistretti, Albini, Zanuso and many more.
Keynote speaker: Art historian Serena Spinelli
She holds a Bachelor of Arts with high honours in Art History and a Master of Arts from the University of East Anglia (UK) and a diploma from Sotheby’s Institute in London
