This is the first major retrospective dedicated to Leonora Carrington, an important surrealist painter, to be held in Italy.
The exhibition aims to present her artistic universe and intellectual personality through her vast body of work, including paintings, drawings, tapestries, stage sets, costumes, and a wealth of written and archival material. Books, films, and documentary photographs provide historical context.
