Sunday 4 October 2026 – Ballet DON QUIXOTE – Teatro Arcimboldi, Milano

The ballet DON QUIXOTE captivates audiences with its sparkling energy, its richly varied choreography and its Spanish-inspired atmosphere. The show will feature leading names from the international dance world, alongside the TAM Ballet corps de ballet.

DON QUIXOTE, inspired by Miguel de Cervantes’ masterpiece of the same name ‘Don Quijote de la Mancha’, a ballet that made history with its debut at the Bolshoi Theatre in 1869, in Marius Petipa’s legendary choreography set to the music of Ludwig Minkus.

In this production, Spain comes to life in an explosion of colours and rhythms, suspended between dream and reality: grace alternates with virtuosity, lightness with technical power, in a succession of character dances, athletic leaps and moments of rarefied lyricism. The adventures of Don Quixote and his faithful Sancho Panza thus become the pretext for a theatrical journey in which comedy, poetry and spectacle blend seamlessly.

A classic to be experienced to the full, where dance does not merely tell a story, but invites the audience to step into it.
