General rules.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Following the Statute [1] and according to the association rules defined by the Third Sector normative [2, 3], the membership to ACE, Attivit\u00e0 di Promozione Sociale, is granted to all those which have presented a written request, without any limitation due to economic conditions and without any discrimination of whatever nature, provided that: they fill the association form, confirming their acceptance of both scope and finalities of ACE and the treatment of their personal data; pay the association fee; approve and respect the Statute, the internal regulations and deliberations of the Organs of the Association. The membership is confirmed by a resolution of the Consiglio Direttivo.<\/p>

Members.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>ACE is reserved to adults only (> 18 Years old), internal (employees and pensioners of the European Institutions and their families, partners and children) or external (all other people, with a limited percentage equal to 40% of the total number of members). Further details are presented in the COPAS rules [4], in the Statute [1] and in the Regolamento Interno [5].<\/p>

Membership.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The membership campaign for the year 2026 will open on 1st December 2025.<\/p>

Membership fee:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>the individual membership fee for the year 2026 is fixed at \u20ac 35 (thirty-five).\u00a0
Duration:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>One year, from 01\/01\/2026 until 31\/12\/2026.<\/p>

Membership formalities:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>the membership can be activated on line by paying the requested membership fee using credit card. The form to fulfil is available at\u00a0https:\/\/www.associazione-culturale-europea.eu\/index.php\/diventare-socio-ace\/.\u00a0<\/a>There is still the possibility to pay in cash at the ACE\u00a0Library (JRC entrance, Bd. 1), starting on 01\/12\/2025.<\/p>

Privacy:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Personal data collected and needed for carrying out the activities of the ACE, will be processed according to the European Regulation GDPR UE\/2016\/679 (Italian transposition \u2013 D.Lgs. 2003\/196 and D. Lgsl. 101\/2018). All those, which request to join ACE, explicitly confirm\u00a0\u00a0 to have taken notice of the information on privacy and to give their consent to the personal data treatment according to the GDPR EU\/2016\/679.<\/p>

Activities<\/strong><\/p>

Events for Members<\/strong>\u00a0(events outside the province of Varese,\u00a0e.g.<\/em>\u00a0opera at Teatro alla Scala, Arena di Verona; concerts and ballets, Arcimboldi, Teatro Lirico Gaber, Il Piccolo; visits to Museums and cultural trips, with provision of transport);\u00a0
Visual Arts<\/strong>\u00a0(organisation and participation to cultural events with multi- and inter-disciplinary character e.g. celebrations, exhibitions, debates, mix of art and science and anthropology involving public entities and associations within the province of Varese;\u00a0
Concerts<\/strong>\u00a0(renown artists play in the Auditorium of the JRC Clubhouse at Ispra or in locations in the province of Varese);\u00a0Conferences<\/strong>\u00a0(on arts and history of art, culture, literature, music, geopolitics etc.);\u00a0
Nature and landscape<\/strong>\u00a0(reflections on the nature and the landscape,\u00a0 promotion of sustainable development);\u00a0
Movies<\/strong>\u00a0(films, documentaries and related debates);\u00a0
Creative writing<\/strong>\u00a0(laboratory for the training of writers);\u00a0

Opening time for ACE\u2019s main office:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Monday\u00a0<\/strong>(<\/strong>10:00 \u2013 12:30); Thursday (10:00 \u2013 12:30).<\/p>

Access to facilities, materials and events:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Members can access facilities, materials, activities and events hold\/organized by ACE, following the specific instructions and procedures as specified under each Sector\u2019s activities.
